Get Ready for the Whistlestop BBQ Festival in Huntsville!

Huntsville, it’s that time of the year again! The beloved Whistlestop BBQ Festival is returning to bring mouth-watering BBQ delights to the Rocket City. Mark your calendars for the weekend of October 18-19, when you can dive into an experience filled with live music, delicious food, and a whole lot of fun!

What You Can Expect

The festival kicks off on Friday, October 18th, from 3 PM to 11 PM. Then, on Saturday, the festivities go all day long from 11 AM to midnight! Held at the vibrant MidCity District, this year’s festival promises to be even bigger and better, thanks to a partnership with i3, with a portion of the proceeds supporting the Earlyworks Children’s Museum.

BBQ and More!

Prepare your taste buds for the main attraction: BBQ! You’ll have the opportunity to sample mouth-watering BBQ from a variety of vendors. Don’t forget to vote for your favorite in the People’s Choice BBQ competition – your taste could help crown the next BBQ champion!

If BBQ isn’t quite your thing (though we can’t imagine why!), don’t worry! The festival offers a diverse selection of food trucks and other delicious food options to satisfy every craving. And let’s not forget the local artists and artisans showcasing their work, providing you with the perfect opportunity to find unique crafts and gifts.

Tailgate Zone and Live Music!

Football fans, we’ve got you covered too! There will be a tailgate zone for you to hang out with your fellow sports lovers while soaking up the festival atmosphere. And for those who love live music, this year’s lineup is fantastic! Get ready to rock out with Caleb Mills, 5ive O’ Clock Charlie, Element XI, Pine Hill Haints, and Mustache The Band throughout the event.

Headlining Acts

The night will heat up with a special performance by the sensational Leftover Salmon on Saturday evening starting at 4 PM. But that’s not all! Stick around afterward for the highly anticipated concert featuring Billy Strings. This weekend is a perfect way to enjoy some fantastic tunes while indulging in the best BBQ Huntsville has to offer.

A Huntsville Tradition

Since its inception in 2001, the Whistlestop BBQ Festival has become a much-loved tradition for locals and BBQ lovers alike, drawing in crowds from all over the region. It’s a great chance to get together with family and friends, enjoy the festive atmosphere, and of course, savor some amazing BBQ!
