Plus, you won’t want to miss out on the tempting food and drink specials that will be available throughout the event. Fast forward to Saturday, and get ready to glow in the dark at the DRM Glow Run 5K, happening from 6 to 9 p.m. at Adtran, 901 Explorer Boulevard NW. This glowing adventure is perfect for the whole family to enjoy! While attending is free, there’s a registration fee of $25 and up for those looking to participate as runners or walkers.
The main event kicks off at 7 p.m., and you can expect a plethora of family-friendly activities. Noshing from delicious food trucks will satisfy your cravings, while little ones can dive into fun with exciting face painting! Participants will also have a chance to win some fabulous vendor giveaways.
After the race, stick around for the fun post-race festivities, where a live DJ will keep the energy up and a mesmerizing custom 3D mapping light show will surely dazzle your senses. It’s an experience you won’t want to miss!
Finally, end your weekend on a high note with the Second Sunday Jazz Brunch on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the AC Hotel, located at 435 Williams Ave. SW. For just $30 for adults and $15 for kids ages 12 and under, you can indulge in a curated brunch menu that’s sure to please your palate.
