According to local authorities, the semi-truck was stopped at a traffic light when it was suddenly struck from behind by the Camry. Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find the driver, identified as Alyssa Hurley, severely injured inside her vehicle. Despite the immediate efforts to save her, she was pronounced dead at the scene due to her injuries.
