Huntsville, Alabama – A Showcase of Fireworks

As the United States gears up to celebrate its 248th year of independence on July 4th, residents in the Tennessee Valley are in for an unforgettable night view. Numerous towns and cities across the region have planned colorful fireworks displays set to light up the night sky, creating a festive atmosphere for the occasion.

Madison County – An Early Start

Madison’s Star Spangled Celebration will take off a day earlier, on July 3rd, featuring inflatables, live music, and food vendors from 5 p.m. with a fireworks show set to start at 9 p.m. at Dublin Memorial Park.

Huntsville’s Independence Celebration at MidCity

On July 4th, Huntsville’s MidCity District is the place to be. The celebration will kick off at 12 p.m. and last till 11 p.m., filled with live music and numerous food and drink specials to choose from, along with several family-friendly activities.

Morgan County – Spirit of America Festival

Morgan County’s traditional Spirit of America Festival, held at Point Mallard Park, will start at 1 p.m. on the Fourth of July. Attendees can expect live music, a variety of family-friendly activities, and even a hot dog eating contest, all leading to a fireworks display set to start at 9 p.m.

Star-Spangled Bash in Marshall County

Meanwhile, the Star Spangled Bash in Marshall County will be held a little early, on July 2nd. The free event will feature family-friendly activities starting at 5 p.m. at Grant Town Park, with the fireworks show scheduled to start three hours later at 8 p.m.

Franklin County’s Jam on Sloss Lake

In Franklin County, the citizens are preparing for a ‘Jam on Sloss Lake’. The free event is scheduled to commence at 5 p.m. on July 4th, featuring a range of family activities and a car show. The festivities are set to conclude with a fireworks show at 10 p.m.

Red, White, BOOM in Limestone County

Dubbed ‘Red, White, BOOM,’ the Athens Middle School in Limestone County has prepared a half-hour long fireworks display on July 4th starting at 8 p.m.

Lauderdale County – The Spirit of Freedom Celebration

Lauderdale County is hosting the Spirit of Freedom Celebration on July 4th from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at McFarland Park. Again, the event is free of cost and will feature live music leading up to the fireworks display scheduled to begin at 9 p.m.
