Huntsville, Alabama, is gearing up for an exciting weekend as it hosts the South Star Music Festival on September 28-29, 2024. Taking place at John Hunt Park, this festival promises to deliver thrilling performances from top artists like Gwen Stefani, Blink-182, Ludacris, and many more.

How to Find Tickets

Getting There

The venue is located at 3125 Don Mincher Drive SW, Huntsville, AL 35802. For a smooth entry, note that there is only one Main Entrance. It’s situated south of Joe Davis Stadium, near the roundabout at Philip Dotts Drive and Jaycee Way.

Public Transportation

The Huntsville Orbit bus line provides convenient access to the festival entrance. Specifically, the Red Line will have extended hours during the festival, running for an extra hour after closing each night.

Rideshare Information

If you’re using a rideshare service, be sure to drop off and pick up at Joe Davis Stadium for easy access to the festival.

Parking Options

Parking won’t be an issue, with several options available:

  • Pre-Paid Parking: Paid parking lots can be found around Joe Davis Stadium. Information on purchasing pre-paid parking will be available soon.
  • Free Parking: There will be free parking at Milton Frank Stadium and the Aquatic Center. Keep in mind, this will require a longer walk to the entrance, so consider dropping off friends first!

Biking to the Festival

If cycling is your thing, bike parking will be available near the main entrance, so don’t forget to bring your lock!
