North Alabama High School Football: Fans Can Now Vote for Their Favorite Players!

It’s that time of year again in beautiful Huntsville, Alabama! As Friday night lights shimmer across the fields, high school football fans are invited to get in on the action by voting for their favorite performances from the week’s games. Coaches are busy submitting statistics and nominating their star players, but now it’s your turn to weigh in!

Starting now, voting is officially open until Wednesday evening. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to show support for the hardworking athletes who give their all on the field each week. Remember, it’s all about celebrating their incredible performances! The nominees are all set, and the winner will be announced on Thursday for everyone to celebrate their achievement.

Week 10 Nominees

Let’s take a look at the standout performances from Week 10 that earned nominations:

  • J.L. Davis, Austin: What a game for Davis! He accounted for a whopping seven touchdowns during Austin’s 52-21 win over Grissom. This talented player threw five touchdown passes and ran for two more, contributing hugely to the Black Bears’ undefeated season at 9-0.
  • Diego Holt, North Jackson: Holt had a stellar night with 234 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 37 carries, leading North Jackson to a nail-biting 28-26 victory over Randolph.
  • Josh Williams, Madison Academy: Williams forwarded the Madison Academy offense with 275 yards and three touchdowns, securing a 24-16 win against Plainview.
  • Logan Anderson, Fyffe: Anderson was unstoppable, running for 260 yards and scoring five touchdowns on 26 carries, as Fyffe cruised to a 42-7 victory over Geraldine, clinching the Class 3A, Region 8 title.
  • Caleb Sanders, Bob Jones: Sanders demonstrated his skills with 192 rushing yards and two touchdowns while leading Bob Jones to a convincing 54-14 victory over Huntsville.
  • Houston Scott, Westminster Christian: Scott completed an impressive 22 out of 34 passes for 200 yards along with one touchdown, guiding Westminster to a crucial 21-14 win over New Hope that earned them a playoff spot.
  • Brogan Gross, Athens: Gross wasn’t to be outdone! He ran for a 1-yard score and threw for two more touchdowns (13 and 74 yards) contributing to Athens’ dominant 49-20 victory against Decatur.
  • Tristan Childers, Boaz: Last but not least, Childers racked up 170 rushing yards and a goal line touchdown in Boaz’s 31-21 win over Arab.

Coaches or official team statisticians, remember that you need to nominate your players by noon each Saturday to ensure their place on the list for fan voting. It’s a simple process!
