Witness Account
Gale Tanner lives across the street in a nearby neighborhood. She says she heard gunshots while gardening in her backyard last night. “I hear bang bang one shot, then a pause, bang bang bang,” said Turner. “I thought someone was going to get hurt because I knew those were gunshots and I needed to stay back on the porch and not go out in the yard.” She added that this was not the first time she had seen crime in the area, but it was the first time something this big had occurred. “We want to stay so having a shooting across the street is a little disconcerting,” said Turner. “This isn’t the first time something has happened here but it’s the first really big thing.”
