A Jurassic Experience Roars Back to the Rocket City

Huntsville, Alabama is gearing up for an exciting event that will transport visitors back to the age of dinosaurs! From September 6-8, the Von Braun Center will host the much-anticipated Jurassic Quest—a traveling dinosaur exhibit that promises thrills for dino enthusiasts of all ages.

Meet the Giants of the Past

Get ready to step into a world filled with life-sized replicas of incredible dinosaurs, including a jaw-dropping 60-foot long Spinosaurus and an 80-foot long Apatosaurus. One of the main attractions will be a lifelike Tyrannosaurus Rex, allowing guests to witness the incredible size and majesty of these ancient creatures.

Interactive Experiences Await

Not only will visitors feast their eyes on these giants, but they’ll also have the chance to participate in a range of interactive events. One highlight will be a special baby dinosaur show where kids can engage with adorable baby dinos. Raptor training is also on the agenda, presenting a thrilling opportunity to learn about these fascinating creatures.

Fun for the Whole Family

Families will have an array of activities to choose from, including:

  • Fossil Digs – Great for budding paleontologists!
  • Jurassic Jeeps – Explore the grounds in style.
  • Crafts & Coloring Stations – Let creativity flow.
  • Tricera-tots – A special soft play area for young dino lovers.

The event is designed to be a go-at-your-own-pace experience, so visitors can explore the exhibit as they like. Expect to spend around one to two hours fully immersing yourself in the Jurassic adventure.

Ticket Information

General admission prices are as follows:

  • Ages 11+: $22
  • Kids Standard Admission (Ages 2-10): $22
  • Kids Ultimate Admission (Ages 2-10): $36

The Kids Ultimate Admission includes extra perks like access to dinosaur rides, T.Wrecks Raceway, and inflatable attractions. Tickets can easily be purchased through the Jurassic Quest website.

Don’t Forget the Essentials!

Before heading out, be sure to pack some essentials. Strollers and wagons are allowed, and if your little ones plan to jump on the inflatables, make sure they’ve got their socks with them!
