Huntsville Prepares for Annual Women Honoring Women Gala
Huntsville is buzzing with excitement as preparations gear up for the highly anticipated Women Honoring Women (WHW) gala, an annual fundraiser hosted by the WEDC Foundation. This magnificent event will be held on Thursday, September 19, in the lovely Saturn Ballroom at the Von Braun Center. It promises a night of celebration, inspiration, and camaraderie.
Celebrating Remarkable Women
This year marks the 23rd edition of the gala, and each year, it serves as a shining beacon of empowerment for collegiate women in our community. It’s all about recognizing incredible women who have left their mark on Huntsville and Madison County, while also uplifting others along their journeys. The event helps the WEDC Foundation in its mission of mentoring, providing financial assistance, and fostering professional growth among young women.
This year’s gala will shine a spotlight on five extraordinary honorees who exemplify strength, courage, and determination. WAAY 31 had the pleasure of sitting down with each of these remarkable women to discover what this recognition means to them and the significance of helping other women flourish.
