HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – A Limestone County judge sentenced a Huntsville woman to 15 years in prison after she pleaded guilty to manslaughter. Tonyia Shepard Miron was driving under the influence when she hit and killed Elizabeth Tucker in 2020. Court records show Miron was speeding and under the influence of alcohol when she rear-ended Tucker’s car on Highway 31 in Athens. Tucker’s sister was also injured in the wreck.
