Huntsville is buzzing with energy as the Huntsville/Madison County Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) welcomes a new face to their team while also making an exciting promotion that promises to elevate their tourism efforts. This dynamic duo is here to make Huntsville shine even brighter in the world of travel and tourism.
First up, let’s talk about Brooke Isom. A proud native of Huntsville, Brooke joined the CVB team in July. She is taking on the vital role of the Administrative Assistant, making her the first point of contact for anyone reaching out by phone or email. So, when you call or send an email, there’s a good chance you’ll be chatting with her!
With a background in Public Communication from the University of North Alabama and a graduate of Grissom High School, Brooke is not only knowledgeable but also incredibly passionate about her hometown. She particularly loves contributing to Huntsville’s ongoing growth, which seems to be happening at a rapid pace these days.
One of her key responsibilities involves managing the CVB’s online events calendar. This means she’s the go-to person for keeping Huntsville.org loaded with all the latest happenings. Whether you’re interested in festivals, concerts, or community activities, you can count on Brooke to keep the calendar packed with exciting events that draw visitors to our lovely area.
On the other hand, we have Erica Bradford, who has been a dedicated member of the CVB for six years. Recently, she earned a well-deserved promotion to Tourism Sales Manager on October 1. In her new role, Erica will focus on promoting Huntsville and Madison County as prime spots for leisure group travel. That means she will work tirelessly to attract more visitors and make their stay memorable!
Part of Erica’s new responsibilities also involves leading the Educational Escapes program. This initiative is aimed at student and youth tours, ensuring that younger generations get to experience everything Huntsville has to offer. From school trips to youth retreats, Erica’s dedication will help students create unforgettable memories in our city.
But that’s not all! Erica will be closely coordinating important yearly events like Tourism Month and Culinary Month alongside her colleague, Pam Williams, who serves as the Vice President of Tourism. Together, they’re sure to roll out some fantastic campaigns that will have everyone talking.
“Erica’s experience in hospitality and her dedication to the CVB make her the perfect fit for this role,” said Pam Williams, highlighting her excitement about Erica’s contributions. With Erica stepping into this pivotal position, the CVB is optimistic about enhancing the leisure travel market and unlocking new potential for growth.
As Huntsville continues to blossom into a bustling hub for tourists and visitors alike, having passionate individuals like Brooke Isom and Erica Bradford on the team is crucial. Their combined efforts are sure to draw even more attention to our wonderful city.
In conclusion, the recent changes at the Huntsville/Madison County Convention & Visitors Bureau are exciting signs of the times. Between Brooke’s fresh energy and Erica’s established record, there’s no doubt that Huntsville’s tourism scene is on the verge of great things. Keep an eye on those event calendars, everyone – there’s a lot to look forward to!
