A 15-year-old boy from Huntsville, Alabama, found himself in trouble while on spring break in the Florida Panhandle, leading to his arrest for assaulting two Florida deputies. The incident took place near Seagrove Beach, where the teen was caught drinking underage.
According to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were on duty for spring break crowd control when they noticed the Huntsville teen consuming a Michelob Ultra. As they moved in to arrest him for underage drinking, the situation escalated quickly.
During the arrest process, the 15-year-old allegedly punched one of the deputies in the head. Despite being handcuffed and escorted to a patrol car, the teen managed to slip out of his restraints and strike another deputy, this time in the nose.
As a result of his actions, the teen is now facing multiple charges, including two counts of assault on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest with violence, obstruction with violence, and possession of alcohol by a minor.
Following his arrest, the Huntsville teen was taken to the Walton County Jail before being transferred to the Department of Juvenile Justice in Crestview, Florida. The authorities are handling the case in accordance with the law.
