Another theft involving an iPhone 15 was reported later, raising concerns over rising package thefts. Individuals with information are encouraged to contact local authorities.

Huntsville Residents Asked to Help Catch Package Thief

Hey folks in Huntsville! This is a friendly reminder that our community needs your eyes and ears as the local Sheriff’s Office is on the hunt for a package thief. It’s important that we all keep an eye out for each other, especially when it comes to our hard-earned deliveries.

What Happened?

On a Friday afternoon, specifically around 4 p.m. on January 15, a theft occurred right in the 100 block of Glenfield Court. Someone decided they needed someone else’s package without paying for it. Not cool, right? Fortunately, the incident was caught on surveillance video, which gives a clear view of the suspect in action, removing an item from a front porch.

Do You Have Information?

The Sheriff’s Office is reaching out, asking members of our community to share any tips they might have about the theft. If you think you might know something or if you happen to recognize that sneaky thief from the video, you’re encouraged to get in touch with Detective Mike Parton by calling 256-533-8831. Your information could make a big difference!

But Wait, There’s More!

The package bandit trend doesn’t stop there. In a related incident, the local Huntsville police are also on the lookout for another man suspected of stealing a package—this time, it contained a shiny new iPhone 15. This theft happened on June 14, and witnesses saw the suspect leaving the scene in a gray vehicle. Nearby, the Madison Police Department reported some similar thefts involving the same guy, but he changed it up and was seen in an orange vehicle.

Join the Effort to Catch the Porch Pirate

Again, the police are asking for your help! If you think you’ve spotted this porch pirate or know anything that could assist the investigation, don’t hesitate to reach out. Every little bit helps to ensure our neighborhood remains safe and friendly!

Merchandise Thieves on the Loose

In another head-turning theft, three individuals decided to make off with nearly $1,500 worth of merchandise from the Victoria’s Secret store at Parkway Place mall on September 10. This isn’t just an isolated incident; our community has to band together to tackle these crimes!

How You Can Help

If you have any leads on this mall heist or can think of anything that could assist, you can reach out to Investigator Jeremy Woods at 256-746-4136. Each tip you provide can help turn the tide against those who think it’s okay to take what isn’t theirs.

Wrapping It Up

So, Huntsville, let’s stay alert and keep our community safe! Package thefts can leave victims feeling violated, and we all know how hard it is to wait for our deliveries only to have them taken away. Working together, we can help catch these thieves and put a stop to their antics. Remember, if you see something, say something—your little bit of information might just lead to a big break in the case!
