Huntsville is gearing up for an unforgettable close to its annual Concerts in the Park series with a spectacular drone show on August 5. This year marks a special occasion, as a local engineering firm celebrates its 25th anniversary by treating the community to a synchronized aerial performance featuring 300 drones.
Spectators can expect the drone show to kick off after the final concert ends around 8:30 p.m.. The performance will take place at Big Spring Park, adding a unique touch to the already vibrant summer concert series. This is a first for Huntsville, reflecting the city’s enthusiasm for innovative and community-focused events.
The drone performance is being organized by Intuitive Research and Technology Corp., who has been a proud sponsor of the free concert series. Nikki Ficken, a spokesperson for the company, stated, “When we were considering how we wanted to celebrate our anniversary, it felt natural for us to involve the community.” This dedication to giving back emphasizes the company’s role in enriching the local culture and community.
The partnership between Intuitive and the Concerts in the Park series showcases a commitment to creating memorable experiences for Huntsville residents. Ficken further highlighted, “Intuitive is dedicated to making a positive difference where we work, live, and play, so we wanted to provide an unforgettable experience, not only for our organization but for the local area.”
As Huntsville prepares for the thrilling finale, residents and visitors will get to enjoy the convergence of music, community spirit, and technology in a stunning display of light and creativity. Join the crowd and witness this amazing event that promises to be a memorable end to the summer concert series.
