News Summary

Huntsville’s Council Member Bill Kling is inviting residents of District 4 to participate in the annual district-wide survey. This is a vital opportunity for locals to express their views on community issues such as road maintenance, public safety, and zoning matters. Feedback can be submitted through comment cards available at various locations in the district during March or via phone and email for those unable to participate in person. Residents are encouraged to voice their thoughts to help shape the future of their neighborhood.

Huntsville Residents, It’s Time to Speak Up!

Hey there, folks of Huntsville! Are you ready to make your voice heard? Exciting news is buzzing around the community as Council Member Bill Kling rolls out the annual district-wide survey for all residents in District 4. This is your chance to share your thoughts, ideas, and concerns about your beloved neighborhood. So, let’s dive in!

Your Input Matters

We all know that our community is constantly evolving, and one of the best ways to keep it thriving is by staying in touch with those who know it best: the residents! This survey offers a fantastic platform for everyone living in District 4 to express their feelings about what’s working and what could be improved. Think about it—your local council member wants to know what’s on your mind!

The survey isn’t just about tick boxes; it’s all about the heart and soul of our community. Whether it’s concerns about road maintenance, anxieties over public safety, zoning issues that need addressing, or suggestions for better community services, your feedback can make a real difference. Kling is eager to hear from you!

How It Works

So, how do you get involved? It’s super simple! Throughout March, comment cards will be distributed all across District 4 to gather as much honest feedback as possible. You can pick one up at multiple locations that I’ll list shortly. Once you’ve filled it out with your feedback, you can drop it off at the City Council office located on the sixth floor of City Hall, or at any of the designated spots around town.

Where to Find Comment Cards

Ready to grab those comment cards? Here’s a list of some friendly spots in District 4 where you can find them:

  • Clayton E. Moneymaker American Legion Post 237 (2900 Drake Ave. SW)
  • Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 3263 (2500 10th St. SW)
  • Elks Lodge No. 1648 (725 Franklin St. SE)
  • Downtown Public Library (915 Monroe St. SW)
  • Green Bus Brewing (206 Eustis Ave. SE)
  • IHOP (3001 Memorial Pkwy. SW)
  • Honest Coffee Roasters (114 Clinton Ave. E #106)
  • Huntsville City Hall lobby

So, whether you’re grabbing your morning coffee, popping into the library, or unwinding at the local bar, keep an eye out for those comment cards!

Not In Town? No Problem!

If for some reason you can’t make it to one of the drop-off locations to hand in your feedback, worry not! There are still ways you can share your thoughts. A quick call at 256-427-5011 or an email sent to HsvCityCouncil@HuntsvilleAL.gov will ensure that your voice is heard. No matter how you choose to share, every bit of communication helps build a stronger, better community.

Get Involved!

This is not just a survey; it’s a chance to participate in shaping the future of Huntsville. Every single opinion matters, and your input is crucial in helping leaders understand community needs. If you’ve got something to say, now’s the time to say it! Huntsville is a vibrant place, and together, we can keep it heading in the right direction!

Mark your calendars and get ready to engage with your community—let’s work together to make our neighborhood an even better place to live!
