Huntsville, Alabama – A devastating fire took place on Saturday that has forced Bravo’s Coin and Bullion Exchange and Tailgaters Bar and Grill to close their doors. The owner of Bravo’s, Brian Doubrava, has expressed his heartbreak over the incident, but remains hopeful about the future.
Reports indicate the fire originated just after 5 a.m. on Saturday in the same building that houses Bravo’s Coin and Bullion Exchange and Tailgaters Grill. The cause of the outbreak remains under investigation, though signs posted on the premises attribute the incident to an electrical fire.
Doubrava was taken aback by the support he has received from his community following the closure of his business. “It’s all been about how can people help,” noted Doubrava. “To still have a community and an environment where that takes place in today’s world, it’s absolutely heartfelt.”
Fortunately, Midway Pawn and Pistol in Gurley is offering a temporary haven for Bravo’s Coin and Bullion Exchange. Despite the hardship facing him, Doubrava is looking at this as an opportunity to rise from the ashes, stronger than before. “A business owner has agreed to clear out space in what was already an area where he didn’t have space to clear out, so that way we can start where we left off by next Monday at the latest,” affirmed Doubrava.
Doubrava remains optimistic, despite the daunting challenges ahead, believing in the old mantra that with every disaster comes opportunity. “With tragedy comes triumph,” he iterated. “All I can tell my customers who have been with me since the beginning, to the customers who just started with us, when we come back, it’s going to be bigger and better than ever before.”
