Huntsville is getting ready to welcome a true country music legend. On October 9, George Strait will headline an incredible tribute concert titled “Song and Stories of Dean Dillon” at the Von Braun Center Propst Arena. This event is set to showcase not only Strait’s unparalleled talent but also a fantastic lineup of other country music stars.
Joining George Strait on stage will be a stellar array of artists including Vince Gill, Ronnie Dunn, Riley Green, Justin Moore, Jamey Johnson, Pam Tillis, Zach Top, Mark Chesnutt, Billy Currington, Gramps Morgan, and of course, the honoree himself, Dean Dillon. This concert promises to be a memorable experience for all country music fans!
The concert starts at 7 p.m. and will be filmed for a television special to be broadcast at a later date. So whether you’re a lifelong fan or new to George Strait’s music, this is an event you won’t want to miss!
Ticket sales are already open, and fans can purchase them through SeatGeek, VividSeats, and StubHub. Don’t wait too long, as tickets are expected to sell out quickly given Strait’s recent record-breaking concert in June where he performed for over 110,000 fans—setting a new U.S. record!
In addition to his performance in Huntsville, George Strait is also set to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2025, joining other musical icons like Keith Urban, Prince, and Busta Rhymes.
This upcoming concert is a great opportunity for fans to enjoy the sounds of one of country music’s finest, while also celebrating the contributions of songwriter Dean Dillon. Be a part of this exciting night in Huntsville, and grab your tickets now!
