Thieves go after anything, even if it’s securely tied down, like generators. In a recent incident in Huntsville, a pull-behind generator worth nearly $20,000 was stolen from an area apartment complex parking lot. Huntsville police are seeking the public’s help in apprehending the culprit involved in this brazen theft.
On June 4th, at 1010 Elliston, a driver of a white pick-up truck was captured on surveillance cameras entering the parking lot, loading the expensive generator onto the truck, and then driving off without permission. The stolen generator is a significant loss for the property and its residents, and authorities are eager to bring the perpetrator to justice.
In addition to the generator theft, Huntsville police are also actively searching for individuals involved in other crimes. Darrell Brown, accused of stealing jewelry while house sitting, Brandon Gothard, charged with attempting to escape law enforcement, John Dent, suspected of organized retail theft, Courtney Henson, facing fentanyl possession charges, and Bernard Scott Ly, charged with child sexual abuse, are all on the police’s watch list.
If you have any information on the stolen generator, any of the individuals mentioned, or any other criminal activity, Huntsville police urge you to contact them immediately. You can reach out to authorities by calling 53-CRIME or by providing tips through text or email. Your assistance could play a crucial role in solving these cases and ensuring the safety of the community.
