Mark your calendars for the 27th annual Oktoberfest at Redstone Arsenal! This amazing festival starts on Friday and runs through Sunday, bringing you a taste of German culture right here in Alabama.

  • When: Friday from 5 p.m. to midnight, Saturday from noon to midnight, and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Where: Redstone Activity Field
  • Price: General admission is $15, or you can get unlimited rides for just $25.

What’s on the agenda? Think carnival rides, live music, traditional German food and of course, refreshing German beer! There’s even a Craft Biergarten to sample local brews. Plus, sports fans will love the SEC Sports Pavilion complete with big-screen TVs. And if you’re feeling strong, why not take part in the stein hoisting competition? It’s a fun way to show off your skills and enjoy the festive atmosphere with friends and family.

Glow in the Park 5K: Light Up the Night!

If you’re wanting to get your heart pumping, be sure to check out the Glow in the Park 5K at John Hunt Park! This unique nighttime fun run kicks off on Saturday evening and promises an exciting experience.

Educational Fun at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center

And for the curious minds out there, the U.S. Space & Rocket Center is hosting the International Observe the Moon Night—an event that brings science to life!

  • When: Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Where: U.S. Space & Rocket Center, 1 Tranquility Base, Huntsville
  • Price: Absolutely free!
