Captain Stephen Anderson from the Huntsville Police Department encourages visitors to plan ahead: “If you’re going to be attending the festival, please be sure to get there with plenty of time to find some parking,” he advises, noting the expected congestion around the venue.

Anticipating a Large Turnout

With around 21,000 attendees expected each day based on current ticket sales, it’s no surprise that the city is taking safety seriously. Hamilton reassured everyone that there will be ample security measures in place to ensure a safe and fun environment for all. “C3, the festival organizers, will have their own private security monitoring the activities,” he explained. Additionally, Huntsville Police will be on site to provide support, ensuring a well-coordinated effort for everyone’s safety.

Addressing Lineup Changes

As preparing for such a large event comes with its challenges, some music fans may have noticed that Jane’s Addiction recently had to bow out of the lineup due to internal disagreements. While it’s unfortunate that this change is happening so close to the event, Hamilton expressed confidence that C3 will find a suitable replacement. “This kind of thing happens,” he said, trying to reassure attendees. “It is unfortunate that it is so late in the process, but they are working hard on it, and we have full confidence in their ability to get it done.”
