Doc McStuffins Exhibit Now Open at EarlyWorks Children’s Museum

HUNTSVILLE, Ala.

Brace yourselves for an interactive learning experience as EarlyWorks Children’s Museum in Huntsville opens its doors to the award-winning ‘Doc McStuffins’ exhibit. The exhibit, inspired by Disney Junior’s popular series, transposes young visitors into the magical world of storytelling and healthcare.

Engaging Activities for Your Little Doctors

With its intermingling narrative and hands-on activities, the traveling Doc McStuffins exhibit aims to transform every child’s visit into a fun-filled learning adventure. Children have the opportunity to engage in pretend play as doctors, treating toys in McStuffins Toy Hospital, grooming toy pets, feeding baby toys in the nursery, and much more.

Aside from offering immersive pretend play scenarios, the exhibit also intends to instill life lessons about health, wellness, and the importance of caring for others, preparing the children for real-world experiences.

Detailed Exhibit Breakdown

The Nursery, hosted by Lambie

In the Nursery section, children get to nurture baby dolls by following a routine that includes feeding, rocking, singing lullabies, and even changing the doll’s nappy. This hands-on interaction will exercise their empathy and nurturing abilities.

Pet Vet, hosted by Stuffy

Under Stuffy’s guidance, your younglings get to be the vet for their toy pets. Activities here include diagnosing pets using a make-believe CAT scan machine, grooming them, feeding, and even replenishing their energy levels. Children can also experience changing water in a fish tank as a part of their pet care routine.

Emergency Room and Operating Room, hosted by Hallie

Join Hallie in an exhilarating ER and OR experience where kids can assess their toys, make a diagnosis in the Big Book of Boo Boos, and even email their findings to themselves. Furthermore, they get a chance to mend a “ripped” toy and carry out a mock operation. This section of the exhibit is perfect for those wanting to experience the thrill and responsibility of being in an ER/ OR situation.

The exhibit, which opened its doors on June 17, will remain open until September 22, 2024, matching the museum’s regular working hours. For more information and ticket bookings, visitors are encouraged to check the museum’s website.

Let your child’s inner doctor shine and give them an unforgettable learning experience at the EarlyWork Children’s Museum’s Doc McStuffins exhibit!
