Country Legends Coming to Huntsville for Dean Dillon Tribute Show

Huntsville is set to host a stellar lineup of country music icons for a special tribute concert dedicated to the legendary songwriter Dean Dillon. On October 9, the Von Braun Center Propst Arena will come alive with music, stories, and heartfelt performances, all celebrating the remarkable contributions of Dillon to the country music landscape.

The tribute show, titled “Song and Stories of Dean Dillon,” will feature a host of country legends including George Strait, Vince Gill, and Ronnie Dunn. Other artists taking the stage include Riley Green, Justin Moore, Jamey Johnson, Pam Tillis, Zach Top, Mark Chesnutt, Billy Currington, Gramps Morgan, and of course, Dean Dillon himself. Notably, Cole Swindell, Lee Ann Womack, and Neal McCoy have also been added to this impressive lineup.

Dean Dillon is a well-respected figure in country music, known for his songwriting prowess. He has penned numerous hits for iconic artists like Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith, and Keith Whitley. Dillon was instrumental in creating George Strait’s first charting single, “Unwound,” and has written other timeless classics such as “The Chair,” “Marina Del Rey,” and “Ocean Front Property.” His collaboration on “Tennessee Whiskey”, with Linda Hargrove, has seen renditions by the likes of David Allan Coe, George Jones, and Chris Stapleton.
