Madison, get ready for a night filled with excitement and community spirit! Celebrate Madison 2024 is set to take place this Thursday evening at the lively Toyota Field. The gates swing open at 6 p.m., so gather your family and friends for an unforgettable evening!
According to Michelle Epling, President of the Madison Chamber of Commerce, this year’s celebration is all about local pride and togetherness. “Celebrate Madison is a special event for our community, showcasing the strength and unity that define Madison,” she shared enthusiastically. This event has become a cherished tradition in Madison since its inception three years ago, bringing residents together for not only fun but informative moments, like the mayor’s state of the city address.
Mayor Paul Finley is gearing up to share updates, achievements, and new projects that highlight the exciting progress being made in Madison. One of the most buzzworthy announcements is the unveiling of a new city parks and recreation app that promises to make park information more accessible for all residents!
There’s going to be plenty to do at Celebrate Madison! For starters, the first 300 guests will receive a free hot dog, soda, and ice cream—what a delicious way to kick off the night! Local businesses will be proudly showcased during the Vendor Showcase, providing attendees with a fantastic opportunity to shop locally and discover a variety of goods and services right from their own community.
The evening is jam-packed with delightful surprises! Expect live music to get you in the groove, alongside appearances by talented actors and actresses from the renowned Fantasy Playhouse Children’s Theater & Academy. Kids and adults alike can indulge in fun activities like face painting to make the night even more celebratory.
A heartwarming moment will be facilitated by Signalink, the event’s Military Family Sponsor. This veteran-owned business is excited to recognize a deserving local military family for their unwavering service and dedication to our nation. “We understand the sacrifice of not only service members but their families as well,” stated owners Steve and Alice Lessmann. They feel privileged to honor these families and appreciate their commitment to the city and community.
And don’t forget the spectacular finish! A stunning fireworks display will light up the sky, sponsored by Huntsville Utilities. This finale is the perfect way to conclude a night celebrating community spirit and togetherness.
As Michelle Epling expressed, “A heartfelt thank-you goes out to all our sponsors, partners, and community members whose support makes this event possible.” This evening promises to reinforce the dedication to making Madison a vibrant place to live.
